This was my husband and I's first time staying here even though we have frequented hocking hills and stayed at lake hope for over 20 years. We were looking for something different and booked a last minute 2 night stay in the glaciers ridge lodge, it was avaliable and pet friendly which is exactly what we needed. Loved the options of hot tub, pool table, darts, Foosball, movies and the tipi was a nice bonus and really cool. The beds were comfortable, as were the futons, great for lounging to watch movies. The kitchen has everything you need appliance and utensil wise. They had a great set up for our anniversary, even the embroidered pillowcase. Loved all the bed options being king or queen instead of the usual doubles. Frank was friendly and informative. Their house is close but they have done a good job of still making the cabin feel private. Plenty of things close by to do and see if you want to venture out as well. Our only complaint would be that since you are instructed to clean and put away all dishes, some were still wet or not fully clean from precious guests, so would suggest they are at least checked during housekeeping. The Dot Calm cabin was perfect for our wedding weekend! The cabin was so clean, bed was comfortable and the location was perfect for seeing all that the area had to offer. We had a wonderful time. We stayed in the Tall Pines Cabin and it was very beautiful and secluded.  It was also nice as we were close to Lake Logan.  Boulders Edge is a great place to stay if you are visiting the Hawking Hills Region.
